A Dhaka University Finance Alumni with over 25 years of banking experience, Ms. Shamim Ara Khanom is one of the Directors of the board of Zaytoon Business Solutions Ltd. Her career began in Arab Bangladesh Bank Ltd. as Probationary Officer in 1992. She has previously held other important positions, as the Head of International Division and Treasury in Trust Bank Ltd., Southeast Bank Ltd., and Social Islami Bank Ltd. Additionally, she also served as a mentor in the training academies of various banks.
Apart from her diverse career, she performs her duties as the life member (donor) of the board of directors of Chitrakote Model School and College in Munshiganj.
Presently, she is also the Managing Director of a Financial Technology company, Voicebridge Bangladesh Ltd., working to incorporate artificial intelligence in the provision of financial services.
